Infant feeding

From simple questions and reassurance to complex feeding challenges, Laura offers one-to-one help at home in Cumbria or online.

Support available

All feeding methods are welcome.

Breastfeeding

Help with latch, nipple pain or trauma, milk supply, reducing top-ups and ending breastfeeding responsively. Laura can assess feeding, talk through what is happening and make a practical plan with you.

Bottle & combination feeding

For breast milk, formula or a combination. Laura can help with bottle refusal or aversion, bottle-feeding skills, responsive and paced feeding, and oral function concerns, with practical steps tailored to your baby.

Expressing & breast pump support

Whether you express occasionally or exclusively, Laura can help you choose a pump, check flange fit and build a routine that suits you. You can also talk through milk expression and supply concerns.

Oral function

Laura can assess oral function and how it may affect feeding, including concerns about tongue tie. There is time to ask questions, explore your options and agree practical next steps.

Unsettled babies

Talk through colic or reflux symptoms, allergy-related feeding concerns and what you have noticed about your baby. Laura can review feeding, answer questions and help you decide on practical next steps.

Planning & changing needs

Before your baby arrives, discuss your feeding goals, questions and previous experiences. Laura can also help with feeding twins or triplets, introducing solids and chestfeeding as your needs change.
